Platform Home Ownership recently donated a Christmas care package worth £400 to Sleaford Manor care home to spread some cheer and goodwill this festive season.

The housing association, which has Shared Ownership homes for sale at a nearby development, named Handley Chase, embraced the spirit of giving during the festive period and donated games, treats, and other self-care items, such as hot bottles, blankets, and moisturiser.

Sleaford Manor care home provides constant high-quality residential and specialist dementia care on a permanent and respite basis, in the picturesque surroundings of the market town of Sleaford.

Set within over an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds, the facilities at Sleaford Manor are second-to-none, complete with an in-house bar, cinema room, hair and beauty salon, terraced balconies, and a bowling green and allotments for the summer months.

Sabina Cox, Marketing Manager at Platform said: “We are delighted to support Sleaford Manor care home and spread some joy during the holiday season.

“Through this donation, we hope to give residents a small boost this Christmas and give them a little something extra under the Christmas Tree.

“Here at Platform, we are passionate about giving back to the communities we serve and hope to support the Sleaford Manor care home again in the future, along with other local charities and organisations.”
