Driver suffers minor injuries in two-car crash on A17 at Sleaford

Police say they had to close the A17 Sleaford bypass, near the junction with the A153 after a two-car collision shortly before midday today (Wednesday).

A spokesman said the collision was between a blue Seat Toledo and a grey Jaguar X-Type.

It was in the westbound carriageway of the bypass. Police, fire and ambulance crews attended.

The driver of the Seat was taken to hospital with injuries reported as minor, said the spokesman.

The road reopened about two hours later.
