The school says the raw results were “impressively high” – with some 29% of grades being A* or A.
“Once again, QEGS celebrates a fantastic set of A level results with our students and their families,” said Head teacher, Glen Thompson.
"We are delighted for them and congratulate them on the hard work that they have undertaken.
Hard work that has ensured that they have successfully obtained the keys to the next stage in their lives.
"Importantly, while once again the raw results have been impressively high, QEGS will again be one of the highest performing schools in the county with regards to the amount of progress that we have supported our students to make.”
