The grades received today were based on things such as coursework, mock exam results, prior performance in each subject and overall attainment over the past few years. These grades were then moderated and assessed by external exam boards which awarded the final grades.

Todd Johnson, Principal of Skegness Academy, said: “Our pupils have achieved excellent grades and I could not be prouder.

“The last few months posed a number of challenges, but thanks to the hard work of our pupils, staff and parents we were able to make the most of these unique circumstances and continue our pupils education as best as possible.

“I wish them the very best of luck for the next stage of their lives and would like to thank our staff and parents for supporting and helping them to achieve these fantastic results.”
