Boston school sets fundraising target of £6,000 – ends up with £12,000-plus
A special school in Boston has more than doubled a fundraising target it set to buy communication equipment for its pupils.
John Field Special School, in Ashlawn Drive, hoped only to raise £6,000 to buy the resources.
These would include switch adapted toys which would help pupils interact during lessons, for example, by turning the pages of a digital book.

Richard Gamman, headteacher at the school, said: “We have been overwhelmed with the support received.”
