1st Brown le Marsh Brownies (Girlguiding UK) leader in charge is Gemma Beasor received £300 from East Lindsey District Councillor Jimmy Brookes.

The money from the ELDC Councillor’s Community Grants will be spent on a trip to a local wildlife park or similar later this year when the coronavirus pandemic is over.

Coun Brookes said: "The grant will enable the Brownies to go on an outing, without costing the parents money.

"This is great as there are no financial restraints on whether a Brownie can attend or not.

"I hope all the Burgh Le Marsh Brownies have a lovely time and make some happy memories."

Normally, the Brownies meet at the village hall on a Thursday night from 6pm to 7.30pm..

Unfortunately, they are currently closed due to the Coronavirus, but they hope to be back soon.
