“I’m delighted for them because they were a wonderful year group who dealt with the challenge of the March closure with maturity.
“They very much deserve their success and the opportunities that have earned despite the challenges that were thrown at them.
“Our moderated results matched the national picture.
“We decided to issue our students with the exam board grade and their centre assessed grade this morning to ensure that they could demonstrate their potential when the statistical adjustment did not match our view of our students.

“We’ll be working today and tomorrow to support students as best we can, answering questions and directing them accordingly.
“I’d like to thank our students, their parents and all the staff at the school who have coped tremendously well with a challenging situation.
“We’re looking forward to having all our students back in School in September.”
