Organised by YPO, the UK’s largest public sector buying organisation, and Henkel, the creators of the Pritt glue stick, the competition gave one school the chance to win a visit from Mr Pritt, the official Pritt mascot, and his friends for a fun-filled day of arts and crafts activities.

The Mr Pritt Roadshow is designed to encourage both children and teachers to get creative with arts and crafts as a part of the wider school curriculum, alongside core subjects.

Melanie Godley, Category buyer at YPO, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Henkel to bring Mr Pritt to Kingfisher Primary School. The pupils demonstrated real creativity and engaged fantastically with the materials provided, showing that having the right resources can make all the difference and inspire pupils to excel in arts and crafts.”

David Garrod, Henkel Customer Marketing Manager said: “Arts and crafts play a significant role in children’s learning and development, and it is important to use resources that can help children improve their skills in this area. We are thrilled to have had YPO’s support in involving Kingfisher Primary School in our journey to promote arts and crafts amongst children throughout the country.”

YPO supplies public sector organisations with products and frameworks, and is 100% publicly owned, meaning that all profits are returned to YPO customers, such as schools, and member authorities. The organisation’s range includes over 30,000 products and 80 frameworks, covering everything from pens and pencils, computers and furniture to electricity and insurance.
