The school’s Principal, Mark Wilkinson, said: “This year’s results are a tremendous achievement for our students and a real reflection of the hard work, determination and resilience they have shown throughout their time at KEVI. We are incredibly proud of every student today and particularly those who have overcome challenges to achieve results they can be proud of.

“These results represent much more than a set of grades. They are the culmination of years of effort from our students, alongside the commitment of our staff and the support of families. I would like to thank everyone who has played a part in helping this year group reach this important milestone, including the primary school teachers who laid the foundations and support them in the early stages of their education.”

Simon Rose, CEO at the David Ross Education Trust added: “Very many congratulations to all our students collecting GCSE results today, from everyone at DRET. These excellent grades reflect the hard work, determination and dedication by our wonderful young people, their teachers and the whole school community. We wish all of our Year 11s every success in whatever they choose to do next.”
