Shona Buck said these achievements reflect not only academic excellence but also “the determination, resilience and ambition that have characterised this year group”.
An impressive 57.83 per cent of all grades were awarded at the highest grades of 7-9, an achievement that places students among the very best performers nationally. In the key subjects of English and Mathematics, an outstanding 98 per cent of students achieved grades 4-9, while 92 per cent secured grades 5-9.
A remarkable 93.1 per cent of students were entered for the English Baccalaureate (EBacc), reflecting their commitment to a challenging and enriching curriculum and the breadth of their skills and ambition. Even more impressively, over 75 per cent achieved the EBacc at grade 5 or above.
Mrs Buck commented: "These results belong first and foremost to our students. Their hard work, perseverance and positive attitude have been rewarded with outcomes of which they should be tremendously proud. Each grade represents countless hours of study, determination in the face of challenges, and a commitment to achieving personal bests.
“I would also like to extend my thanks to our dedicated staff, whose expertise, care and unwavering belief in every student have played a crucial role in supporting them to reach their potential. Their commitment extends far beyond the classroom and these results are a reflection of the strong relationships they build with students every day.”
A high proportion of students have chosen to continue their education with the Sixth Form.
"We are excited to support them as they take the next step in their academic journey, pursue new opportunities and prepare for university, apprenticeships and future careers,” said Mrs Buck.
