The activity was part of the Shakespeare project, which began in 2016 with schools in Lincolnshire and the Chinese city of Tangshan performing Shakespeare plays.

Ahead of the clay workshop, the children watched a Power Point presentation of a clay session in a Chinese school, which promoted the use of clay for the children to express themselves and further links will be made with Tangshan to share the results.
