Children from ABC Nursery celebrated the Chinese New Year at Zhu Guang in Boston.

The children were taken to Zhu Guang in West Street, where owners Mr and Mrs Peng welcomed all 32 of them and gave them a free meal – with nursery staff leaving a donation as their way of saying thank-you.
The nursery’s deputy manager Jacqui Fitzgerald said: “We have been going each year for the last six or seven years.

“Mr Peng’s daughter used to come to the nursery and, even though she has now left, he still allows us to come back each year.

“The children enjoyed trying to eat fruit with chopsticks and were each given a fortune cookie to take away.”
The nursery has a display wall of children’s artwork marking the Chinese year.
