Nursery raises money for defibrillator

Nursery staff, children and parents walked, toddled, pushed and rode their way to Cogglesford Mill in a sponsored walk for charity.

The event staged two weeks ago was organised by Eslaforde Nursery, based in Stephen’s Lane, off Westgate, in Sleaford.

Nursery manager, Lisa Hupalowsky explained: “The sponsored walk is to raise money for our charity, which is to buy a new automated defibrillator to be installed at the nursery.

“We don’t have a final figure raised yet as we are still collecting the money.”

After walking from the nursery to the mill, the youngsters stopped for a rest and a drink before heading back the way they had come.
