Pupils were encouraged to post scientific questions in a special box, and a science club has been set up – along with a regular science spot in their newsletter. A spokesman for the school said: “This country has a great history of scientific discovery and invention. We want to keep that going. At William Alvey we have been providing our children with extra opportunities to think scientifically.”
