A primary school near Sleaford offered pupils some sizeable treats when its annual week-long celebration of Lincolnshire returned for 2020.

For this year’s event, Billinghay CofE Primary School played host to two tractors, one old and one new to allow for comparison and discussions, and a shire horse.

Joining the horse was a local farmer, who was able to answer questions from the

Other activities included a food taster day featuring locally produced sausages and bread donated by Trotters Butchers and Southern Bakery, both of Ruskington.

This year’s event also took time to pay tribute to the part played by key workers during the coronavirus pandemic, with key worker parents sharing videos of their experiences during this time.
