A total of £1593.66 was raised for the DRET Inspiration Fund, which gives opportunities for trips, resources, workshops and interviews with professionals in the arts industry.

A 'Chocolate/Uniform exchange' was also held recently. The idea was that students should wear something to do with Christmas and in return would bring a selection box or sweets to the value of around £1 .

All of the chocolate donated have been given to the Spilsby New Life Centre food bank to be put into Christmas hampers for families in need over Christmas.

James Myhill-Johnson (Principal) commented: "Fundraising has been an integral part of our academy culture and ethos over the last few years, especially in ensuring that everyone is able to have access to important, staple items.

"It has been a tough year for everyone so hopefully these hampers will bring a bit of Christmas spirit"
