Students cry ‘encore’ for French comedy

‘Mon pere ne me comprend pas’ is a lament often heard from many young people.

The Onatti French Theatre production chose a theme close to the hearts of the Yarborough students in this comedy about not being understood by Dad.

The play was spoken totally in French, yet students could understand due to the amusing mime of the French speaking actors and the hall was filled with laughter as the tale unfolded.

And Year 11 students Jack Lambley and Ashleigh Scholtz, pictured with Onatti actors Claire Bergua and Romair Chateaugiron were unexpectedly called to join in with an extra script and performed brilliantly. (Lin)
