Ancaster Village Nursery & Forest School was filled with pink as children and staff dressed up to show their support for this important cause.
A cake sale, raffle and a fun-filled Name the Bunny competition, all helped to raise raising over £200 and awareness.
The event brought together the whole nursery community, with parents, carers, staff and local businesses generously supporting the fundraising efforts.
Nursery manager Michelle and Practitioner Georgia baked a delicious selection of homemade cakes, which proved extremely popular with families.
Nursery Director Rupinder Sandhu said: “We are incredibly proud of our children, families and staff for coming together to support Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink campaign. Breast cancer affects so many families, and we wanted to do something meaningful while teaching our children the importance of kindness, generosity and helping others.
“Raising over £200 is a fantastic achievement for our little village nursery. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our families and the local businesses who kindly donated such wonderful raffle prizes. It really shows what a fantastic community we are part of and how even the smallest hands can make a big difference.”
As well as raising funds for Breast Cancer Now, she said the event provided a valuable opportunity for children to experience the importance of helping others, showing kindness and being part of a caring community.
