Why it's all gone quiet at Kelsey Primary School
Class 4 at Kelsey Primary School took part in a sponsored silence day to raise money for charities close to the children's hearts.
Teachers Mrs Thorpe and Mrs Hurst said they were amazed and very proud of the children’s dedication to stay silent for the whole of the day, from 9am to 3.30pm.
In total, the school has raised £400 with the money still coming in.
The funds raised will be going to Guide dogs for the blind and Macmillan Cancer Support.
