Young master chefs

THE TALENTED kids of Willoughton Primary School turned into master chefs for an evening as they asked their parent’s to ‘Come Dine With Me’.

The youngsters were part of a cookery club and jumped at the chance to show off their skills to their mums and dads.

“The children were making meals to take home in their cookery club, so we thought we’d invite their parents in for a two-course meal for a ‘Come Dine With Me’ evening,” said teaching assistant Elaine Vale.

“They made a sausage casserole with garlic potatoes and vegetables followed by a strawberry Eton mess.”

She continued: “They did really well and their food was excellent.”

“The kids prepared it all themselves and loved every minute of it.”

Elaine added: “All parents have been extremely supportive and every child had someone there.”

“The feedback was brilliant and all that’s left to do is congratulate our little master chefs.”
