Aviation gift maker celebrates with Red Arrows cupcakes

A Navenby-based designer who makes and sells leather gifts on an aviation theme, including the top display team the Red Arrows, has celebrated her business’s third birthday with cupcakes.

Mindy Arora started Asali Designs three years ago with a selection of aviation gifts, including an officially licensed Red Arrows range.

With airshows and outdoor events cancelled, to mark the third anniversary of the enterprise, Mindy came up with the idea of making 300 Red Arrows-themed cupcakes and sending them as a thank you to staff at the Covid-19 testing hub at the Lincolnshire Showground, four wards at Lincoln County Hospital and NHS heroes at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Mindy said: “We’d like to thank all our customers, suppliers, stockists, supporters, family, friends and photographers for all your love and enthusiasm for the brand since we began.”

Mindy has also done work in the past to support the RAF Benevolent Fund and RAF Association.
