Ben’s double charity effort is a big success!

Ben Whomsley has been accepting donations to raise money for NHS Charities Together, and has donated the hair to the Little Princess Trust which provides real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss due to medical treatment.

As reported in last week’s paper, Ben had his hair shaved off last Monday afternoon (May 18), and he has raised over £1,100 so far.

He said his fundraising was “small way of helping out and saying thank you to these modern day heroes” in the NHS, tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
