CORONAVIRUS: Latest list of schools affected by the virus shows new Boston case

A Boston school has been added to the list of those affected by an outbreak

Boston High School has joined the list of Lincolnshire Schools which are currently affected by confirmed cases of coronavirus.

It is one of 25 schools across the county that has ongoing cases of the virus.

Tower Road Academy, which was previously on the open cases list has now been moved to the list of schools with closed cases, says Lincolnshire County Council.

Andy Fox, consultant in public health, said: "As of this morning, Lincolnshire's Health Protection Team is currently working with 25 schools that have had confirmed cases of coronavirus.

“All schools are taking action to limit the potential spread of the virus, with some pupils and staff self-isolating as a precaution where necessary."
