CORONAVIRUS: Latest figures show one new death in Lincolnshire hospitals

The latest death was a woman aged 80. The news this afternoon brings the total deaths in United Lincolnshire Health Trust (ULHT) hospitals to 70.

The total new deaths of people with coronavirus nationally in the UK announced today was 847, bringing the confirmed deaths total in UK hospitals to 14,576.

A spokesperson for ULHT said: “Sadly we can confirm that one further patient who was being cared for in one of our hospitals and had tested positive for COVID-19, has died. This brings the total number of deaths in ULHT hospitals to 70.

“The patient was a woman aged 80. She had underlying health conditions.

“Her family has been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
