CORONAVIRUS: Sunday's figures for COVID-19 related deaths in Lincolnshire hospitals

The NHS England figures for health trusts released this afternoon (Sunday) show two more deaths at United Lincholnshire Health Trust Hospitals.

A spokesperson for ULHT said: “Sadly we can confirm that two further patients who were being cared for in one of our hospitals and had tested positive for COVID-19, have died. This brings the total number of deaths in ULHT hospitals to 74.

“The patients were a man aged 78 and a woman aged 86. Both had underlying health conditions.

“Their families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”

There have now been 584 confirmed cases in Lincolnshire.

Nationally there have been 120,067 confirmed UK cases.

The total number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths in hospital stands at 16,060.
