CORONAVIRUS: Sunday's figures show two more deaths in Lincolnshire health trust hospitals

Two more deaths of people who have tested positive for coronavirus were recorded at Lincolnshire’s hospitals, figures released yesterday (Sunday) show.

That means the death toll in United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust now stands at 94.

All patients who died in Lincolnshire’s hospitals have had underlying health conditions.

A spokesperson for ULHT said: “Sadly we can confirm that two further patients who were being cared for in our hospitals, and had tested positive for COVID-19, have died.

“The patients were both men aged 76 and 90 who had underlying health conditions.

“Their families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”

A further five deaths were recorded at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust, bringing the total who have died there to 60.
