Coronavirus: Woodhall Spa Parish Council suspends meetings and closes office

Woodhall Spa Parish Council has announced it has suspended all meetings for the next two months and closed its offices in Stanhope Avenue because of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, the council said: “Due to the uncertainty in respect of the spread of the Covid-19/coronavirus and in order to limit any risk to members of the public, elected members or members of staff and notwithstanding any relative Government legislation or advice from relevant medical or any public body pertaining to best and safe practice, Woodhall Spa Parish Council have closed the Stanhope Avenue office and suspended all Council and Committee meetings for a minimum of two months.

“The Parish Council have agreed business interruption and contingency measures to ensure smooth running of our business,

“This will rely heavily on electronic communications.”
