The team at Bombay Club were helped by Mia who is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Pilgrim doctor Bhasha Mukherjee, who is the current Miss England and a previous Miss Lincolnshire.

“We were really pleased that Mia wanted to get involved,” said Mohammed. “It's great to have and be able to support local talent to raise Bostons profile and highlight everything positive about this town.”

Mohammed praised his team at the restaurant for their work. “I would like to thank the team who always roll their sleeves up and get involved in our community work,” he said. “They've stepped upto the plate throughout this pandemic and even adapted living arrangements to allow us to create safe bubbles.”

He said the response from the workers who received meals was incredibly rewarding. “The pictures with the beaming smiles (even from behind the masks) and the messages we receive is so rewarding for us. The instant boost of morale that is visible when we make the deliveries is exactly why we do this.”

He said he wanted to thank the community for its support in the new restaurant, which is currently operating as a takeaway only due to Covid-19 Tier 3 restrictions.
