Rotary Club will honour ‘community champions’

The Rotary Club of Louth would like to celebrate the courage, empathy, and hard work of ordinary people who have gone above and beyond to help people during the coronavirus crisis.

A spokesman for the club said: “We would like to hear from local residents about anything, from a grand gesture to a small yet meaningful act of support.

“Even those of us confined to our homes can be heroic in a quiet but significant way.

“Ordinary people doing extraordinary deeds may not make it into history books or news headlines, but the Rotary Club of Louth would like to applaud the optimism, resilience and determination of these unsung heroes.”
