"As a business we recognise that we’ve all had to adapt significantly to the difficulties surrounding the pandemic due to the covid-19 virus," said a spokesman.

"As of Tuesday, March 23, and for a two-week period, we would like to ask if any families/key workers or individuals who have lost loved ones to the virus or who would like to recognise the commitment and support of Key Workers, friends or neighbours are invited to place a yellow ribbon on our memorial tree.

"You’re more than welcome to attend and to write names of loved ones on the ribbons or just to place a ribbon."

A minutes silence will also be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 24, in memory of all the lost lives during this difficult time.

Anyone unable to leave home can call Frank Woods Funeralcare on 01754 763119 and they can place the ribbon for you.
