GCSE Results: Head at William Lovell proud of pupils and staff for exam performance this year

The headteacher of William Lovell Church of England Academy in Stickney has praised the school’s Year 11 students for the way they have dealt with the many issues they have faced in their GCSE year.

Katherine Cocker-Goring also paid tribute to the teachers and staff at the school who had helped achieve ‘incredible things’ with the pupils.

“The past few weeks have been a trying time for Year 11s students and the wider school community,” she said.

“The uncertainty regarding results following the cancelled exams has been tough on us all.

We pride ourselves on developing confident and resilient young people; our students have proven this time and time again during the pandemic. “Congratulations to all our students for their hard work; we are so pleased that you have been rewarded fairly for your efforts.
