James dares to bare his head - braving the shave for Macmillan in memory of little sister

A Sleaford man '˜braved the shave' in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of his sister

James Clifton had local barber Ness Brown do the deed at the Marquis of Granby pub on Northgate on the evening of September 24.

He had publicised his effort via Facebook and the Macmillan website and raised £80 on the night and £52 online.

James said: “I did it in memory of my little sister, Lisa, who passed away four years ago with cancer aged just 30 and leaving two children behind. She battled this terrible disease bravely for five years.”

He said: “The shave event went OK and raised quite a lot on the night.”
