New chairman for trust
The trust behind many of Lincolnshire's hospitals '“ the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust '“ has appointed a new chairman to its board.
Dean Fathers, chairman of the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, took up the role at the weekend.
Mr Fathers is an experienced chair and non-executive director in the NHS and private sector. Dean and his family have lived in Lincolnshire for 8 years, and he is passionate about improving the quality of care at his local hospitals.
He will continue in his Nottinghamshire role. He will replace Ron Buchanan, who retired at the end of February after two years at the Trust.
