RAF Cranwell's Easter Bunny visits care homes, schools, hospitals and emergency workers to deliver Easter eggs

RAF College Cranwell‘s very own Easter Bunny was out and about delivering some seasonal cheer in the Sleaford area over the holidays.

Flight Lieutenant Thornton started off on a fundraising mission to raise funds to provide Easter Eggs for vulnerable people. Raising an amazing £600, over 450 eggs have been delivered to the following places:

Framework Rehabilitation Centre, Oakdene Care Home, Roxholme Care Home, Ashdene Care Home, Sleaford Children’s Home, Rainbow Stars, Ash Villa, Ashley House Grantham, Women’s Refuge Lincoln, Church Lane School, Children in Care, Lincoln County Hospital, 50 families via NewLife food bank and finally to the Paramedics, Ambulance Crews and Firefighters operating in Sleaford.

Flight Lieutenant Thornton said “I would like to thank everyone who has donated to the Big Egg Push - without your help it wouldn’t have been possible. It has been an emotional and enjoyable experience. Please stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives”.
