Registered nurses, allied health professionals and people looking to return to nursing or adapt qualifications gained abroad are invited to come along to find out more about working at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT), which runs the hospital.

There will be a chance to tour the wards and departments, plus take part in a meet and greet with the chief nurse and chief executive.

The trust is creating about 100 new posts to join teams across all its hospitals.

Acting chief nurse Pauleen Pratt said: “Health professionals are welcome to come and see what we do and ask questions. This is an exciting time to join the trust. We are making massive improvements in the quality of our services, and are looking to recruit more clinical staff. These additional posts will enable us to build on the excellent improvements in care we have already made.

“As well as registered staff, we are also hoping to attract nurses whose children have recently started school and are now thinking about going back to work, or nurses who have recently retired but are looking to return part time. There’s full funding for all course fees and there’s more good news in that participants get £500 for ‘out of pocket’ expenses.

“We also want people who have qualified abroad and want to adapt their qualifications to UK standards.”
