Sleaford and district celebrated VE Day on Friday in style with bunting and dancing in the street and online.

Here we bring you a selection of the activities that went on during the day including an online tea dance by Mrs Smith's Cottage museum, a tea party at William Alvey School, a VE Day drive-through by families at St Andrew's Care Home in Ewerby, a Cry for Peace by Sleaford Town Crier John Griffiths.

There was also a tribute by officer cadets at RAF College Cranwell.
