A primary school near Spilsby was set to stage its take on the Beauty and the Beast story 10 years ago.

Halton Holegate Primary School had spent the previous four months rehearsing for the production, due to be performed at King Edward VI Humanities College, Spilsby.
Teaching assistants and parents made props and costumes for the children, while headteacher Mandy Cherry and teacher Nichola Hall had been directing the cast through their rehearsals.
Beauty and the Beast was chosen by Mrs Cherry to highlight the singing and dancing talents of the children.
Leading actor Kirsty Holts, who was playing Belle, impressed everyone with her performance at the school’s nativity play at Christmas and as a big Disney fan with similar appearance to Belle was thought to be ideal.
