Working in small groups, each assisted by a John Spendluffe pupil, the children were asked to design a perfect school and then give a presentation on it with visual aids. The team from Alford Primary School were declared the presentation winners and received a gold plaque to mark their achievement. Silver went to Seathorne Primary School and bronze to Spilsby. The day was run by educational specialist Scott Hurd.
The afternoon session saw youngsters design a costume to allow them to become their hero or heroine.
