NOSTALGIA: Boston school holds pet show fundraiser in 1975 after classroom left half furnished
Here we see pupils at Park Junior School, in Boston, during a pet show in 1975.
Along with a bazaar sale, the show raised £200 to buy half a room of furniture after Lincolnshire County Council said it could only afford to furnish half the class.
Five hundred people attended the event, with 20 pupils showing a variety of animals, from rabbits, gerbils and hamsters, to goldfish, budgerigars and tortoises.
