These pictures show the Pilgrims in action in Easter 1960 ...
1.
The Pilgrims finished the 1959/60 season of the Southern League Premier Division in ninth place on 44 points from 42 games.
2.
One more point, though, would have taken them to sixth and four more points to fourth with the teams bunched together at that part of the table.
3.
Top of the table, on 67 points, was Bath City (who Boston beat 3-0 at home at the start of the season). Bare-handed keeper action on show here.
4.
Bath may seem like a fairly distant town for a league-mate, but the division also included Poole, Yeovil and Barry.
