NOSTALGIA: Guides, Brownies, and Rainbows assemble for arrival of Peace Light to Boston
Here we see Guides, Brownies, and Rainbows from the Boston area 20 years ago.
The youngsters from the Boston Division Guides had come together to welcome an international symbol of peace to the town.
The Peace Light would make contact with more than 2,000 members of the Guiding community by the time it had finished its journey, having set off in Bethlehem.

Hide AdAfter being passed around as many units as possible, using as many different forms as transport as they could manage (a shopping trolley was one of the modes used), it would move on from the Boston area to the South Holland Division.
