Nostalgia: Guides gather for Thinking Day and Horbling pupils latest in spotlight for Our School feature

The girls were among those taking part in a Girl Guiding Thinking Day session, held at Kesteven and Sleaford High School.

Hide AdAround 200 Guides, Brownies and Rainbows, plus adult leaders, took part in the (mainly) biennial event, which that year had the theme of empowering women.


Pictured right are two classes from Brown’s CofE Primary School, in Horbling.
The school was the latest to be featured in the Standard’s regular Our School spot.
At the top Year 3 and 4 pupils, while pupils from Years 5 and 6 below them.
