Nostalgia: Old stamps make money for Horncastle theatre
In 1994, money raised from the collection
of unwanted Co-op stamps had gone
towards replacing the drapes at the
Lion Theatre in Horncastle.
Their chairman at the time, Ken Vine,
was delighted to receive a cheque for
£100 from Sue Holmes. (pictured),
who was representing the Co-op store in
Horncastle.
The theatre is still a much-loved attraction in the town.
