Nostalgia: Pedal power for church funds
Bardney man Mike Rogers was preparing to set off on an 86-mile round trip on two wheels in 1994.
He is pictured outside St Lawrence Church - the first of 36 churches in the diocese of Lincoln which he visited as part of theLincolnshire Old Churches Trust sponsored event.
Cash that was raised on the ride was divided between the rider’s home church (Bardney) and the Trust. The event attracted riders from across the county.
