Nostalgia - Schools vie for cross country glory as Nocton pupils pose for the camera as Standard’s regular Our School feature continues

Pictured above we see a group of jubilant children from Cranwell Primary School.

The youngsters had been crowned winners of the Sleaford and District Sports Association schools cross country championship, held at RAF College Cranwell. Nine schools took part, making for a total of 177 competitors across the event’s four races.

Pictured right are children from Nocton Primary School, which that week was the focus of the paper’s regular Our School feature.

At the top are Reception class pupils, while below them are Class Two: Years Three, Four, Five and Six.
