Nostalgia: Town traffic
The state of Market Rasen's roads and on street parking causing an issue in the town's narrow streets has been in the news lately.
This picture appeared in the Rasen Mail of 1978 as part of one of the popular features looking back in time to the 1960s, written by former editor Teddy Sharpe.
The image clearly shows parking in the town’s main street, something that also causes issues today from time to time.
It is an interesting insight to days gone by - does anyone recognise the policemen?
