

The challenge was part of a project called TASC (Thinking Actively in a Social Context).
Year Five teacher Andrew Hughman said: “All the children really enjoyed it and each rose to the challenge.”

The children then tested their creations to see how far they could fly unaided, but the wet weather on the day meant they had to carry out the test-flights in the school hall.
Mr Hughman said: “The most successful flew 10 metres, which is fantastic given there was no wind inside to help them along!”
