TEN YEARS AGO: Boston’s first Dragon Boat Festival (IN PICTURES)

Thousands gathered alongside the River Witham in the summer of 2011 to enjoy Boston’s first Dragon Boat Festival.

Nineteen teams took part in the action-packed boating spectacular, each consisting of 10 crew members and a drummer. The event was expected to have raised more than £5,000 for the Boston-based charity the S. John Stevens Memorial Trust.
