One of some of those that took part in that year's carnival parade and another of crowds turning out to see a TV star officially open a new shop in the resort.

Coronation Street’s Catherine Tyldesley was the special guest when Poundland opened a new shop in Skegness at the site of the former Marks & Spencer store in Lumley Road. The actress, who played Eva Price in the IVT1 show up until 2018 and appeared on the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing, is pictured cutting the ribbon.
