TEN YEARS AGO: Pupils travel across Europe to take part in Boston-based concert series
A series of concerts involving five countries was held in Boston 10 years ago.
The United School Bands concerts were organised by Boston Grammar School with help from Boston High School.
It featured pupils from Germany, Holland, Austria and Cyprus, as well as the UK.

Hide AdThey took part in music workshops, including one held by Jeff Rich, a former Status Quo drummer, and another by session guitarist Damon Chivers.
Four concerts were then held during school hours and an evening performance with Boston Youth Jazz Orchestra for the public.
It was all part of an EU-funded Comenius project, which aimed to enable pupils to travel across Europe and experience life in another country.
